Recorded Video Presentation
For online virtual conference platform, please prepare a narrated video of your presentation which will be included in the online virtual conference platform.
Please take note during your conference session, your recorded video presentation will be played. You are still required to attend your session for Q&A.
Before submitting for your video presentation, please make sure you have done the following items via COMET system:
- Register and make the payment (Due date : 15 September 2022)
- Submit the full paper* and sign the CET agreement (for those who opt for full paper submission type) (Due date : 25 September 2022).
- Edit your title and abstract in the system, as per the updated abstract in CET (Due date : 25 September 2022)
*Please also log in to COMET system or check your inbox frequently on the status of your full paper, to make necessary correction or resubmission for your CET manuscript.
Conference platform
- On-Demand Mode: All conference sessions will be organised in On-Demand mode. There is No Presentation Schedule. All videos (oral/poster) will be uploaded to a platform. The participants can view the presentation at any time during the conference duration.
- Q & A Interaction: The participants can post the questions on the platform to interact with the presenter using the chatbox of the platform. The presenters would respond to the questions in the chatbox. All active interactions are expected to happen within the conference days.
- Conference Platform Link will be sent to all participants via E-mail notification; the Link will be available in the COMET registration system (estimated 1 day before the conference).
- Accessibility:
a) Only presenting author of the paid papers will be able to access to conference platform via the COMET System.
b) For other author, please register as a Participant (USD100) in the COMET system.
- Opening and Closing Ceremony: There will be a LIVE session for the conference’s Opening and Closing session. More information on the streaming platform shall be released via the COMET system as well.
Guideline to Prepare the Recorded Video
- Presentation material’s Design: There is No Specific Requirement regarding the design or the layout of the presentation materials (e.g. PowerPoint (PPT) Slides or Poster size) for both the oral and poster presentation.
- Presentation Guidelines:
- Oral presentation:
- Option 1 – 15 min narrated presentation (PPT slides with both voice and webcam camera)
- Option 2 – 15 min narrated presentation (PPT slides with voice only; include the photo of the presenter on the first page and last page of PPT slides)
- Poster presentation:
- Same as Oral presentation, however, the duration is 5 min

- Example of recording method:
- Using the built-in function of PPT to record voice (noted that you would be able to record your webcam as well for PowerPoint 2016 and 365 version) (refer Guideline)
- Using Zoom to record PPT presentation with webcam
- Using any Audio Recording Tool to record the voice and integrate it with the video
- Any other methods which could satisfy the requirement of recorded video in Option 1 or Option 2 (please search for more information online if you are not sure how to do it).

- Due date: 10 October 2022 03.59 pm GMT (Malaysia time11:59 pm).

- Oral presentation: 15 min (<220 Mb)
- Poster presentation: 5 min (<70Mb)

- Video Quality: Please check the video’s quality before uploading the video. The organiser is not responsible for the poor quality of the video.
